We had a fun 3 days at Okuma (a military resort on the Northern tip of the island) with our good friends the Pate family. Okuma is my favorite place to go on the island because it really feels like a vacation.

We saw the Solar Eclipe that could only be seen in Asia. This shot is through a telescope with a sun shield. It was so cool!

Wow! I would've loved to have seen the solar eclipse. Looks like a fun vacation. You guys are so spoiled to live by a beach.
Well, I couldn't quite make it all the way to Okinawa, but had a great time in Yokohama this week. I think I'm crazy enough to climb Mt. Fuji Friday night, so if I don't make it alive, Japan will forever be my home!
