Hello

It's almost time! Time to pack-up our things, say goodbye to family and friends, and move across the ocean. Thank goodness we still have a few months to really enjoy our life here in Ann Arbor. We love it here! We have great friends, cheap movie theaters, delicious Indian restaurants, tons of fun parks, and many wonderful family memories. But we are excited to leave extremely cold winters and dental school behind us. We will spend the next 2-3 years in Okinawa, Japan with the Navy. Okinawa is often referred to as the Hawaii of Japan (we will let you know how true that is in a few months). We have heard only great things about Okinawa and are looking forward to our time there. The only downside is being so far from our family and friends, we are really going to miss you. So as we prepare for our next adventure starting a blog seemed like a great way to stay in-touch. So here we go...

Suzanne!
Your family is so cute! How exciting for you guys to go to Japan. I've been meaning to write to you for months, so thanks for creating this blog and catching us up on your life and family. This is actually the first blog I've been on and I noticed you posted it at midnight, which is normal for a mother of 2 active boys to have that be the time to do such an activity!
Anyway, I told my cousin Ryan Price (from Josh's mission) that he is joining the Navy and moving to Japan. He is in the Air Force in Germany and loves it!!! He's wanted to get in touch with you guys and visit. They are coming to Utah in June and I'm so excited to see them again! So, let me know how he can be in touch with Josh!
Your boys are darling! I'm so grateful for my one little boy, he's such a delightful little tornado, and I'm looking forward to his 2nd bday in July! Clar will be 5 in July and I just can't decide whether to send her to Kindergarten, she's barely 30 lbs and so little! Katherine just got baptized and it is so crazy how time flies.
We'd love to see your family! Will you be visiting Utah at all before you go to japan? I'd love to plan a barbeque with all our friends, or just stop by if your family can't bear to share you! I love you, and think of you surprisingly often! Miss you, Suz!
Love, Jess
