Baseball

Brand is playing coach pitch baseball for the first time this year. His first game he got a hit all three times at bat, crossed home plate all three times, and fielded a ground ball and threw it to first base to get the batter out. It was really fun to watch. Here is a little action from his last game.

Brand up to bat.
Gets a hit and makes it to first base.
Ready to run to second.
Crossing home plate.
Brand's nice new smile. I think he is trying to scare the camera away, he hates when I take his picture.

Brand - WOW! You are batting a thousand, way to go! You're a athlete for sure, and you look cool in your uniform. Kind of expected since your dad is and has been a great athlete since he was your age, and you are a chip off the block.
I couldn't be more proud of you, Brand.

Oh, watching baseball. It's so fun, and sooooo long. It reminds me of summer, but you get summer year-round you lucky dog! I love Brand's scary smile.

Suze-
The 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' version on your page is by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Hawaiian if you can't tell, look him up. Died about ~10 years ago I think. A friend of mine knew him.
Spell checker freaked on his name. LOL

You, the kids, look great but who is the old bald guy?
love, uncle norm

Wow! He is almost grown up--playing baseball and everything. That is a really tricky game. I'm totally impressed. And I love his golden curls--they make the smile charming instead of frightening.
