Here are some pictures from our Labor Day trip to Sesoko Island, about an hour and a half north of where we live.
We went snorkeling for the first time and had a blast. Brand figured out how to use his snorkeling gear instantly and loved it. We saw a ton of cool fish including a blue starfish, a puffer fish, and a black and yellow angel fish just like in Nemo. At one point Josh and Brand found themselves swimming through a huge school of brown fish. We are still trying to figure out what kind of fish they were.

After the beach we went to a Japanese pizza place called "Pie in the Sky" for dinner. The pizza was so good. The only thing that made it different from in the states was the corn on top with the ham and green peppers. This is the view from outside the pizza place.
Pie in the Sky
Brand trying to eat salad with chopsticks. We need to remember to keep forks in our bags for the kids until they master chopsticks.

The sunset as we drove home. Sometimes we still can't believe we live on such a beautiful island.

Beautiful pictures! Thanks for the close-up of the snail. How was Japanese pizza?
It looks so gorgeous there! And just how do you eat salad with chopsticks? It was SO great to talk to you today--glad to hear you've settled in a bit.
It is so beautiful there! Jared goes now and then for work maybe I'll give some thought to going over with him one of these times. Though I might wait until my wild men are a little older so they don't kick us off the plane mid flight.
Absolutely gorgeous! I'm glad you guys are settling in and enjoying beautiful Japan! I miss you!
